Tor and Leo first met on a class in rhetoric and quickly discovered their similar taste in music, their love for Giorgio Moroder, futuristic trains and machines that goes beep.
When the two, by coincidence, moved in to the same apartment complex, sweet noises emerged, echoing over the hills of Ersta. The project soon came to be known as Boeoes Kaelstigen.
Now they have a new exciting new EP being released as a joint venture on Discobelle Records and Adrian Recordings. With their highly technical house that we all learned to love, they come with this new track that will get you started on the journey we call Boeoes Kaelstigen.
The release also comes packed with some killer remixes. Panton (ED from NROTB) loved the track so much he just had to do two, the Italian midget house pioneer Mowgli comes strong and twist it up Mowgli style and last but not least we have Nautiluss from the now buried Thunderheist adding another dimension to the Boeoes Kaelstigen universe.

The season of spooky is upon us and we here at Discobelle decided to gather a couple of the Halloween mixes that we think deserves a little special attention. Get ready to be scared silly.
We start off with a grueling doom/stoner mix from the Finnish masters of bass, Sharkslayer.
Then the British duo Evil Nine of course does their Halloween mix, the third edition is even more haunting then before.
“Oh hey! It’s that time of year again; the time of year where we spend a incredibly long day in the studio listening to incredibly dark and depressing music and dialogue from old horror movies until it drives us fucking insane. We’ve risked our nerves and sanity to bring you this lovely collection of VHS era electronic horror soundtracks by popular artists such as Chuck Cirino, Tanizaki Tetora, Simon Boswell and Terry Taylor. Plus it includes four previously unreleased Evil Nine horror tracks. VHS ‘Party’ is maybe overdoing it a bit, we’re not completely sure how you’re supposed to party to it but I’m sure you’ll enjoy it’s spooky bounty all the same. Have fun! X”
Our old friend over in NYC, Pocketknife decided to celebrate Halloween with a pagan mix.
“As the leaves fall in the woods and the bonfires are lit, a new mix for you focusing on the darker rituals of the season with pagan pop, mystical dance tunes and haunted sound collages…a clank here, a distant chant there. I also included some reworks from the first Canyon Dancing as well as the yet-to-be-released Canyon Dancing 2 and the in-the-works CD3.”
London producer Deadboy hands in his addition to the Halloween mixvagaza, “no tracklist, but features music from The Fog, Zombie Flesh Eaters, Suspiria, The Beyond, Zombi, Blakula and more.”
“RockersNYC Fall/Winter 2010 “A New Day Rising” is proud to present…another epic mixtape curated by Sean Reveron!
Why? Vol. 2 is inspired by the reggae rap movement of the 1990s…this mix takes you from the streets to the dancehall and beyond! Why? Vol. 2 features rare tracks by Del & Special Ed, plus tracks from EPMD, Redman, Shabba Ranks, GZA, and Super Cat. RockersNYC is ready to attack, now we’ve got you open!”
Our friends in Malmö club night/dj duo Oh, Baby I Like It Raw are doing a reunion gig tonight at Babel and to celebrate they decided to throw together this groovy mix which is perfect for capturing the essence of those crazy partynights in the comfort of your own home.
“Some new stuff, some classics and a bunch of songs we can’t stop playing for some reason. Live from our bedrooms in one take. Enjoy!”
Moston & Malente received plenty of dj love from across the globe for their “Oh My God” EP on No Brainer Records and just reached the #3 in the German Club Charts. Berlin video artist flipacoin produced this video for “I Go Round”, the second track on the EP. Hold on to your hats, don’t get too dizzy and don’t watch this one if you are prone to epilepsy.
A few weeks and numerous of remixes later the Non Tiq remix contest officially is over. We’ve received over 50 remixes for Non Tiq’s single “Quiet”. After serious consideration she chose the winner herself.
It’s ChokoDiscoManiac aka Michele Clivati and Michele Magris from Italy!
