Today we here in Sweden celebrate summer solstice and we here at Discobelle thought that it would be fitting to give away the stellar Franskild remix of “Gone” – the UK garage influenced summer smash by Swedens best kept secret Caotico that we released a month ago.

The Stockholm/Copenhagen based duo Franskild churns out a housey remix thick with Scandinavian melancholia, the vocals of the original are turned into a haunting affair all while the deep beat is sprinkled with hi-hats and desolate bleeps.

Make sure to check out the rest of the EP via the Soundcloud player below and then grab it from Beatport.

Northern Sweden duo Caotico are releasing their superb new single “Gone” right here on Discobelle Records today (May 19th), it’s a massive track that leans on a pulsating UK garage sounding beat interspersed with robotic vocals a la Daft Punk turning this into a dancefloor bomb.

The release is backed up by smashing remixes courtesy of Sweden’s newest house hope Franskild and Toronto techno heroes in RYME.

Just in time for the summer season – Toronto based producer/dj Meech brings forth three house gems on his “Shakin’ EP” which also marks his return to Discobelle.

The title track is 6+ minutes of straight forward, steady grooving house with an ominous undertone of dark keys that are polarized by a cut up soulful vocal sample.

“Lose It” is perhaps more of a dj tool with an unresistable vocal sample urging the listener to “lose it”, this is will most likely be the end result when the track is played for an unsuspecting dancefloor during peak hours.

The EP ends with “Right Things” which has already seen plenty of love and established itself in many dj sets. Essentially an uplifting and deep piano house track, there’s plenty of piano stabs in here interspersed with the melodic vocals. This is one for the summer parties!

Originally from Australia but now residing in Los Angeles, Craig Williams is an up and coming producer that had a fantastic 2013 with a release together with Louisahhh!!! of Bromance along with a series of choice tracks/remixes and he’s someone that you should be paying close attention to.

His “Saw Throat” EP was just released by Aussie label Club Sweat (sublabel of Sweat It Out) and it brandishes two tracks of vibesfilled, deep and dark techno – the EP has already seen support from big players such as Claude VonStroke, Crookers, Yolanda Be Cool, Sinden, Astronomar, Beataucue, Nick Catchdubs, RUFUS and more.

He’s also releasing an EP together with Charles I with us here at Discobelle Records in the beginning of April, be sure to check that out and be prepared to be blown away.

After a super long hiatus, Discobelle Records is back with a brand new string of releases to keep you up in 2014. Arriving this month, the “High Steppin’ EP” from Austrian house-maestro, Dizzy Womack, is a slick little 4-tracker featuring three original cuts from Womack and remix duties from Look Like.

As the follow up release to his 2013 EP, “Black Ice”, on Top Billin’, we find Dizzy in fine form with opening cut, “French Sin.” A hypnotic groover with dancing, French-spoken-word vox peppered thru-out. Contrary to its name, “High Steppin’” gets deep, down and dirty with a booty-chakra rumbling bass and pitched down vocals. “She Goes Back” is the deepest of the bunch with stuttering vox and filtered pads, the accompanying remix from Look Like version amps up the more “garage-y” elements which lends the tune a more menacing vibe.

Releasedate is today January 31st, thanks for starting you new year out right with Dizzy Womack and Discobelle Records!
